Great wind for hang time

It was chilly on the sand this morning. The sou wester was blowing right through me at Long Reef, even with all the layers I had on. Yesterday’s offshore have brought the swell in and it’s a nice size, around 4 foot. If you didn’t find a protected southern corner, the wind was in your face as you were paddle on. This wind is predicted to drop around mid day, so a lunch time surf could be on the cards. There will also be more water reducing the shutdowns I saw this morning. Enjoy your Thursday.
