Fragile

One of those long shadows is the Pole

When we are young we are indestructible.  But as our lives progress we find that there are indeed many fragile pieces to our lives, the environment and the world we live in.  Today I heard that a friend of mine, that I have known for 40+ years, is really unwell and that fragility hit home.  Our thoughts go out to Peter Van, a great bloke that I have surfed with, played sport with and who is a long time friend with our paths crossing many times in the years gone by.  Our love and thoughts also go out to Peter’s family, especially Mary, his beautiful wife. Stay strong.

As for surfing… this flat spell is still with us. Hug someone you love.
