Winter swell

The winter swell is bang on time.  Here we are, the first day of June and there are waves.  Not big waves but a nice sized south swell.  There are some 3 – 4 foot waves in the southern corners But the northern ends and bombies are considerably bigger.   It was a cool 7C (feels like 2C) around sunrise, but it warmed up thankfully once it rose above the cloud bank on the horizon.  The wind will turn more south as it did yesterday so an early surf is the go.  Enjoy the first day of the new season.
