The onshore wind is still with us today. This is caused by a high pressure system in the Tasman Sea. But as it moves towards New Zealand, the wind will be more from the nor east over the next couple of days. Swell will remain from the east around 2 – 3 foot as it is today. The surf was a bit bumpy early but I heard that most beaches were better as the morning wore on and the wind dropped. Conditions will be similar through to Friday. Enjoy.
