Where did summer go? It was here last week but has gone missing this week. It was a cool 16C at sunrise and has only risen a couple of degrees by 10am. It must be that south west wind blowing of the Southern Alps that is keeping the temps down. Although with that wind the waves are slightly bigger this morning, in the 3 – 4 foot range but there are limited options. You may have to search for a decent wave today. Like yesterday the wind will drop into the afternoon and is forecast to go full offshore. Swell, although from the south east will swing more easterly so the conditions and wave quality will improve…. good news. Yew!!
