Tail slapping mother

Tail slapping mother

The waves are small, the wind is on shore and there is not much going on surf wise this morning.  I was lucky enough to get lots of whale tail shots yesterday afternoon when a mother and calf were playing off the Long Reef platform.  They were only about 70 metres out and played, tail slapped and breached for about 45 minutes before moving on.  Looks like we are in a flat spot at the moment and this will continue into the weekend.  The winds will move more to the north eastern quarter.  It’s a good day to go to work as you are not missing much.  Enjoy your Wednesday and these pics.   If you would like to purchase any of these please contact us.
