Physalia utriculus.
1 October 2015
Yesterday, it was all about the Megaptera novaeangliae and today it’s all about the Physalia utriculus. There were lots of them scattered at the beaches I covered this morning. Brought in by the onshore easterly which has moved more nor easterly during the morning. At one point the wind dropped off completely but it was soon up again. The waves are in the tiny range and will stay this way all the way past the coming long weekend holiday. Watch out for the Physalia utriculus as they can cause you grief. I was stoked to get the front page of the Manly Daily this morning with my Megaptera novaeangliae shots. Have a good one.
