The teachers and pupils from my old Collaroy Plateau Primary School have teamed up with Holmwood Primary School in Cowra to bring their pupils on a “Bush to the Beach” school partnership excursion.  Some of Holmwood pupils have never seen the Northern Beaches let alone the big smoke.  They have been billeted out and this morning they ventured down to Long Reef beach for a few surfing lessons before heading into Town and then a Movies and Pizza night.  Sounds like great fun.  Waves are small and the air is hot.  Expected 38° before a southerly change sometime late this afternoon or this evening.
