Under the influence
20 September 2016
There was a nice pulse of south swell yesterday with the Longy Bombie producing some 6 foot + waves all afternoon. As we are under the influence of a Low Pressure system which is making it’s way towards NZ, the swell has dropped a little to around 3 – 4 foot on the south facing beaches. It is a real short period at about 7 – 8 seconds and when you are low down shooting the waves in front gets in the way. But there were a few little lulls making the first wave the best for a nice pic. It’s a beautiful morning and there is some swell so get out there and go for a paddle. Enjoy.
