Mrs SPoY and I are heading over to Hawaii shortly for a bit of R & R and watch the World Title decider at Pipe.  As the wave are small here this morning, I thought I would reminisce the best year we had, being December 2013.  That was the year that Mick Fanning won his 3rd Title in maxing Pipeline.  Oh it was so good to watch.  Enjoy these pics and let cross our fingers  for the title to go down to the wire in huge waves.  My pick and favourite surfer… JJF.  Have a great weekend.

Just a short note:  On Tuesday  this week a SUPer suffered a serious injury to his leg and had to be treated by Ambulance on Dee Why Beach around 6.30am.  He had to be transported to hospital but the two kind surfers that helped him to the shore, took his SUP board and paddle somewhere.  We are still trying to locate the board.  If anybody knows of it’s whereabouts, I can pass this info onto the him.  That would be greatly appreciated and many thanks to those two surfers that pulled him from the surf as it was a bad injury.
