I was a day early for the new seasonal change.  (I know what day it is…. NOT).  Yes it’s still winter and I felt it this morning.  although the wind is out of the north it still had some coolness to it.  Waves have dropped considerably to be around 2 – 3 foot and will continue that drop into the weekend.

I mentioned the other day that a mate of mine, Ollie, was involved in a life changing accident on 11/08/18.
He was in Bali on a surf trip when he was tragically run over by a cement truck.  Ollie was by himself when the accident occurred which meant he had to take care of himself following the incident; this involved him having to pick himself and his shattered leg up from the side of the road, tourniquet his wound to control the bleeding and get a 35 min taxi to the hospital.  Thankfully he made it to a Perth Hospital but his leg had to be amputated.  He is a young bloke that was full of life and lived it like that.  There is a go fund me page for him as he wasn’t insured  CLICK HERE..  If you can help please do.  Be safe out there as we don’t know whats around the corner.
