There are limited options this morning.  With this largish swell of around 4 to 5 foot it’s the southern ends that are handling it the best.  Most south facing beaches are not handling the lump and bump due to yesterday’s southerly.  Similar to yesterday, the wind will swing from an early morning offshore to more south.  Swell should hang in there for another day or so.  On a sad note there is a small humpback whale washed up on the northern tip of Long Reef.  It is not known how it passed.  But I have been told that the swell has taken it to Narrabeen Beach and the council has removed it.   Be safe if you are surfing  in the near vicinity and watch out for Noahs.
